Building Bridges through Social Networks
Each organization and individual has a social network that can produce collective action and spread awareness. I have the ability to pinpoint key components in a social network to receive optimal performance from the entire social network. Social Network Analysis can help improve the productivity of an organization internally and externally by determining which personnel is most utilized and under utilized in an organization.
I can also broaden a organization's social network by strategically building bridges with unthought of groups, media, and corporations. Collaborating with organizations with different purposes will increase exposure and spread awareness of a brand, product, and/or service.

In my previous position with TheRoot.com, I utilized my personal network to build a bridge between the TheRoot.com and PNBC. The Root gained more viewers and the pastors under PNBC received opportunities for publications on a major platform.
While working in the Office of Civil Rights with the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), I established a relationship with Howard University's journalism department and spearheaded an initiative to spread awareness of BBG and provide opportunities for students to gain hands on experience in journalism.
During my matriculation in the Communication, Culture, and Technology program at Georgetown University, I have produced academic writings in media representation, politics, and the promotion of social movements. Below is an example of my work with Social Network Analysis and its role in producing social movements.
